I've written rmi-based application for use on internet. This application works inside web browser. But, when I access my web page from internet on my server I get the following exception:
java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.net.SocketPermission 127.0.0.1:1099 connect,resolve)
at java.security.AccessControlContext.checkPermission(Unknown Source)
at java.security.AccessController.checkPermission(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.SecurityManager.checkPermission(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.SecurityManager.checkConnect(Unknown Source)

at sun.rmi.server.UnicastRef.newCall(Unknown Source)
at sun.rmi.registry.RegistryImpl_Stub.lookup(Unknown Source)
at java.rmi.Naming.lookup(Unknown Source)
I did ALL that could be done in java.policy editor to grant connect, resolve, accept, listen and explicity specify address 127.0.0.1:1099.
I need somebody to point me in the right direction to look for solutions please. Is it a firewall issue? I think many people would be interested in solution to this problem because it seems to be quite common.
