Hello. I'm Ricardo (PH User Name: Ricardo777). This will be my first thread posting. I am now introducing myself. I had not before. I just want everybody to know I exist. I like computers, technology, & etc. I hope to be a great Computer Programmer & maybe work for Microsoft. I hope to find people here who share these interests & maybe become friends. I know some of HTML, but I'm basically a biginner programmer. I am curently studying Visual Basic 2005, & maybe after that, maybe study C# 2005 from Murach books ([link=http://murach.com]Murach.com[/link]). So, let me know if you want to be friends with me.

    Hello Ricardo, I suggest you to learn C# and .NET platform rather than Visual Basic any more since it's quite out-dated and .NET is nowadays really popular.

    I think by Visual Basic 2005, he meant a .NET version. Which essentially means it's C# 2.0 with syntax I like less, but others like more. But other than some odds and ends, they ain't so different... :-)

    Yeah, I guess you got it right. :)

    For anyone who's familiar with C# can get wet with VB.NET pretty quickly.
