GBA dev Palette

Hello,
For all of you out there who are developing for the GBA might be glad to hear I'm Working on a Image editor that saves as .cpp for use right away. It also loads gif files.

Though I have one small problem.
I don't know how to save the palette.
At the moment to convert a tga image to cpp I use gbagfx to convert to .img and .pal then b2x to convert to .cpp.
I don't understand the .pal file, I need to do this then my editor will be ready for realise.

If anyone can help me I would be greatful if you would
