COM+, Win98, 2000 Server Question

I create a DLL in VB on a Win98 client (MTS compliant) then copy it to the server and register it as part of a Component Services package in the 2000 Server. After going through dcomcnfg everything seems cool. Is it possible at this point to export the component to the Win98 client and be able to reference it in a new exe and actually run it?
Bottom line is I haven't really found credible documentation anywhere stating that Win98 clients and Win2000 servers cannot communicate when it comes to COM+ or the opposite that the CAN.
Any insight?
Thanks in advance.
