URL AREA OF BROWSERS

Can you in your web site have it show the URL that you want your viewer to see when thay choose a link from your site.

If I have a link like "see this one"
When it clicked the window in the browser will show:
"www.mypage.com/see this one" instead of the real
address of "http://members.tripod.com/mysite/html.123"
or something to that effect.

I know that I can do it for the scroll bar below and on the link it's self but can I also do it for the url listing at the top of their browser?

    No, I'm afraid that's not possible, what you can do however, is open a new window and hide the adress bar, then show what you wan't in the title bar, giving the illusion you have your own .com :-)

    like :

    function popup(url) {
    window.open(url, 'demo', 'width=600, height=400');
    }

    goto my .com

    something like that, you get the idea
