Maya to Max. Scripts/Plugins ?????


I'm trying to convert an animation generated in Maya 3 to Max 3. I've used a number of different programs with different amounts of luck.

My current situation is that I can export from Maya to 3DS but when I import the file into MAX it looks ok at first and even the animation is fine but when you look at the pivot points there all screwed, they are all outside of the body etc ...

Does anybody have any mel scripts or plugins which convert from Maya Ascii or Binary files to MAX 3DS files without losing the pivot data ?
