C++ Library to reset or remove login password
As a side project, I am now developing a program to help people reset windows login password for local account. I already solved the problem booting from USB drive and now confused on how to finally remove or edit the password. If you know something about this, please kindly shed some lights on this. much appreciated.

It seems there are some free software out there like Ophcrack.
The Ophcrack Windows password cracker is by far the best free Windows password recovery tool available. It's fast and easy enough for a first time Windows password cracker with a basic knowledge of Windows. You cant ry to reverse-engineering it.
