compiler error in a source code in C

The source code is about 157 kB.while compiling,error is

-Linker Error: Segment_Text exceeds 64K.

I have tried to complie it in all the models

huge, large ,medium etc) but the error persists

can i compile this source code? & how

i use a Turbo C++ compiler version 3.0 by Borland Inter.

Inc. please give me a solution to this

my base memory is 640K & ram is 32MB.

    GOOD LORD, 157KB for one source file?!?!? If that's what your saying, that is one of the biggest I've ever heard of (and that's not a good thing).


    Anyway, you want to break that file up into multiple source files, compile them all to obj files, and then link them together to create the program. In 16bit modes, I believe a text segment is created for each source file, and it can be a max of 64K (compiled). So that should fix the problem (and make you use a memory mode that supports multiple code segments).
