replacenment of ul and li in asp.net

i jz tok up a web template for my site now the problem as u ppl know is that there are "href", ul, li, span controls in html that do not have runat property so they r not aplicable in asp.net. also there'z no way to pass arguments in hyper links. i want a menu bar that contains "link buttons" 4 navigation
i have also tried "menu control" 4 doing this but it also does not pass arguments
infact no navigation control in asp.net pass arguments xcept buttons(img btnz, link btnz and smpl btnz)
m so tense for this as i have only 3 days left 4 my project sbmision.
