Encryption of wav files by converting into text format and playing

Hey all ,

I have to convert wav files into text format to encrypt using Identity based encryption (using AES algorithm) and then decrypt that file.The resulted text should be converted so that it is playeable as a wav file again.

Could you please help me on how to perform these conversions viz wav to text and text to wav .
