Browser Anchor Application Launcher
I am requiring a method to launch locally stored programs from a web browser, specifically, FireFox. (This is possible in IE using ActiveX.)
The application must be able to be launched from an *anchor link*. (Applications of particular interest are Nautilis and Windows Explorer.)
Must be able to be applied to both Ubuntu and Windows operating systems.
Must be relatively lightweight, and simple to install.
