trouble deploying a crystal reports application

I designed an application in Visual Studio 2008 with its Crystal reports. On deployment, whenever a user tried to generate a report, a Just-In-Time error would appear. There were two solutions I tried: 1st. downloading the CRRuntime_12_0.msm merge module and including it in the setup files. 2nd. installing CRRedist2008_x86.msi on the client machine but still the error appears when a user tries to generate a report.
