Problem with raycasting sprittes

Hello everybody ! If someone can tell me how to raycast sprittes in a wolfenstein type raycaster then please help me out .

    I personally do not have much experience implimenting raycasters, but do know about them. If you can explain your situation a bit more, perhaps I might be able to help.

    My understanding, who I've never done it, is that the sprites need to be encoded in vertical stripes. Then if the ray reaches the sprites (corrected for curvature) depth the vertical stripe, offset properly, is checked. IF it's not transparent at that point continue the ray. Otherwise draw the appropriate pixel and stop the ray.

    The trick is vertical stripes.
