Could try searching the archives here. I'm not sure how much is out there for conversions, but I'm sure there must be some for displaying. Haven't worked too much with the GIF/JPG algos much and not for a long time. BMP is fairly straight forward, but if you can't find anything and need it to be GIf and/or JPG check out the file formats. You may be able to make something for basic files (although if you need it to handle all JPGs & GIFs then it may be much more in depth)

Are you using Delphi, TP/BP or FreePascal or something else??? I know that TP/BP doesn't have any such PUTIMAGE() routine. You would have to find a third party unit.

  • I don't have alot of free time to convert stuff (and I don't know C/C++ very well either) The GIF format looks easy enough, but the JPEG I think is quite a bit more in depth. Try to Google for some Pascal Units. They should be out there.
