I want to change an FTP password

Hi there,

I'll spare you the whole story. But in a nutshell, I have an ftp-password and used it today to change the web site. However, I am unable to change the password. I need to do it because I want another party who also have this password to prevent changing it back.
To change the ftp password I need a control panel password of the ISP which I don't have (the other party does).
ANyone who is willing to help me with this, please be quick because I don't know how fast the website will be beyond my reach.

    There should be a local cpanel admin login for you particular account. If i were you i would contact the ISP to change the FTP password.
