how to extend length of screen output in C++ 3.11 for DOS?

Simple question. My program uses screen output, but number of lines that can be displayed is limited. How can I increase that number and make scrolling endless? I work with quite old Borland C++ 3.11 for DOS. Thanks.

Why do you post this on the Basic Language board, and not the C++ board?

Literally endless scrolling is impossible, but you can keep a large number of lines stored off-screen. Then you can create a pointer to that list and print the first 25 or so lines from that pointer. A scrollbar or hot-keys can provide the user with control over that pointer and thereby the scrolling.
