Storing icons

Hi,

anyone know where the LoadBitmap function extracts those icons?
g:=TBitmap.Create;
try
g.Transparent:=true;
g.Handle:=LoadBitmap(0,PChar(OBM_CHECK));
SpeedButon1.Glyph:=g;
finally
g.Free;
end;
the code above will put a thick (a checkbox thick) in the speedbutton's glyph. But where is that image stored? In my exe? And how can i insert my own images there? With resource file?

    First line of the help file entry:
    [italic]The LoadBitmap function loads the specified bitmap resource from a module's executable file.[/italic]
    As for the rest of the questions, they should also be answered by this line. Yes, they are included as resources. Yes, you can add them yourself using resource files. Resource files can be added to the executable (or library) by using the {$R} directive.
