Which 'file name' was expected? What if you compile and build a 'Hello World' program (e.g. www.codepedia.com/1/CppHelloWorld)?

  • : ok ... i first created a console win32 project i created only one file for it i writed a very basic file in it.

it is compiled an it didnt give a warning or error but when i built file it gives an error : "a file name expected "

it is all same files which tried in microsoft visual studio and ran truely

also tried hello word programme too

is it enough or you dont help??????

  • A) LITERALLY copy-paste ALL error messages given by your compiler, including line numbers
    B) LITERALLY copy-paste the code you've used in the Hello World program

    Hope you succeed,
