I would like to create an open file browser that allows user to select more than one file when uploading files. I've done searches on the web and all I am finding are things written using .php that allow multiple file loading one at a time.

What I am looking to do is once the dialog is open to select a file, you have the option to use the ctrl key to select multiple files THEN once 'ok' is clicked, the selected files with perform the upload feature. The same technique is used through windows and various of programs. I would like to do this in coldfusion, but if it can't be done, then I am willing to try a different scripting language (maybe JavaScript).

Can anyone help me with this?

take your time to learn something other than coldfusion it just aint very wide spread therefore there isn't many free scripts for it yet off the internet.
