SR. Java Developer

Job Description:
We are seeking two (2) Sr. Java Developers involved in design, development and implementation of Java applications. An ideal candidate will be innovative, adaptive and eager to take on new challenges. This is a 6-month contract to hire with a government contracting agency located in downtown Washington, DC.
Prerequisites
Ability to obtain DOJ Secret Clearance
Previous technical lead experience
Strong technical background (10+ years)
5+ plus years of experience in the following technical areas: Java, J2EE, XML, relational database experience (Oracle is a plus)

Additional Skills
Experience following SDLC processes and procedures
Ability to quickly coordinate and resolve issues between multiple groups and organizations
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Strong relationship building skills
Object Oriented Technology Experience
Web application architecture and interface experience
Solid working knowledge of Java, J2EE and XML
Working knowledge of Relational Databases (Oracle experience a plus)
Experience with Caucho Resin, IBM WebSphere and BEA Weblogic a plus
