Text Field problem with Netscape 4.7

Hello everybody,

I need some help. I'm developing a system with JSP's who uses a . When I run this page into a Windows 98 with Netscape 4.7 and I type a special caracter as "" or "", the operational system says that a fatal error occurred and the program will be closed.
If I run the same page into a Windows XP with Netscape 4.7 and I type the same caracters, sometimes they are displayed, sometimes not.
Someone have an idea about why this thing is happening?
