We are looking for a Senior Database Engineer to join our Seattle office. This is a key position responsible for design and development of a marketing campaign management product and a product that will have the capacity to email over 1 Billion transactions per day. This role performs the following:



Work closely with management and project team to understand detailed specifications

Help design schemas for Data Warehouse and Data Mart products

Help establish Database standards for new product development

Articulate specifications design ideas to team members while ensuring adherence to project requirements

Review and ensure own and other developer’s code is high quality



Successful candidates will have the following minimum qualifications and experience:

Architect, design and develop database applications in C++

Experience with UNIX or NT

Coding in embedded SQL

Experience with performance, scalability, OLTP, Internet, Data Warehouse, Data Marts, ODBC Database design, ETL processes

5+ years experience with Oracle development



Experience with the following is a definite plus:

Sales or marketing systems in a Consulting or Systems Integration environment
