c++ builder 1.0 acces violation errors

While programming with the ancient c++ builder 1.0 under windows 98, i often get messages like EAccess Violation or just simple Access Violation errors at this and that address. This happens when either a small program ive made is running or when i open a new application or component, etc. I know win98 has a wierd way of managing memory, and that c++ builder has bugs, does this have anything to do with these errors?
