Best Practice - Source Control

My team has made enhancements on EPM Tool using .NET as the platform and a number of languages offered by .NET were intergrated to get the solution working with the enhancement. We are currently using VSS as the source control, and i only know how to package an msi using VSS. Could CCC Harvest(All Fusion) work with this platform, and does one use it to create an msi package for destribution.
