Leading developer of cutting edge action/FPS games is opening a new studio in the Southern California area in early 2005. This group is looking to staff a highly skilled pre-production team in the first quarter of 2005 with plans to grow the studio to around 55 people by the end of the year. This team will be working on an original third person action game for the Xbox2 and PS3 platforms, scheduled for release in early 2007.

The Technical Director is responsible for overseeing the engineering team through all phases of tech development, including project scheduling, defining and communicating vision, motivation and team-development, acting as an intermediary between internal personnel and the Technology Research and Development team and other outside vendors, and the management of the product release.

5-7+ Years Experience in the industry Ability to track, schedule, and people manage multiplatform teams (PC, XBOX, PS2 and GameCube) Strong desire and ability to push current and future PC and Console Technology to its limits Act as a strong link between Producers, R and D and QA Shipped at least 3 Triple AAA Titles on PC or Consoles Excellent understanding of the complete game production and development process, from Inception to Gold Master Strong low level C++ and ASM programming knowledge, multiple hardware level platforms, and 3D graphics Expert in Software Engineering, Architecture and Design.

Proficiency in programming standards and guidelines

Excellent documentation, organization, communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, in the English Language Knowledge of foreign languages a strong asset!
Knowledge of multiple computer languages even stronger!
Degree in Math and/or Computer Science or equivalent
