Job Description:Junior Software Engineer – Goal Programmer

The objective of Content is to create high-quality and innovative virtual human agents using NetPeople™ technology
Description of Opening:
Reporting to the Producer, the Goal Programmer will be a member of the Netpeople™ content teams, responsible for providing the goal programming and related development work required to support the creation of NetPeople™ agents.
Create custom agent capabilities through goal programming, as specified.
Provide support for agent creation by interfacing with Technology Innovation group to solve technical problems and obtain enhancements as required.
Design, code and test software to ensure completeness, while adhering to our engineering standards.
Follow current processes and methodologies.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
1-3 years development experience
Experience with Tcl/TK a definite plus.
Exposure to Windows and C++ programming
Ability to work quickly and independently as well as within a team.
Excellent communication skills
Experience in any of the following: MS SQL Server, Perl, user interface design, InstallShield, internet product development, artifical life techniques, artificial intelligence technologies, Tcl/TK, MS Visual C++, MFC.
Experience in a start-up environment a plus
