Possible N.Carolina Employment

I am currently on the job hunt for a job in the North Carolina area. Not having a lot of luck, I am asking for any help on leads and/or the right person to contact. Are there any suggestions on how I can get my foot in the door with a company or work experience? I am willing and open to any.

I have very limited experience only through course work, but have the hunger to know more. Can I get help on the job titles that I should be using when searching on job sites? I only use programmer and analyst.
