I'm currently making a 2d platform game for a group project at university. Our 'gimmick' is that the game will be able to be played by 2 players over a network.
I was just wondering what the best way would be to go about prgramming the networking part. I was thinking about using sockets but need to research other ways too.
Could anyone point me in the right direction? I need some sites or articles all about network programming in C++.
