Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have 8 years development experience in Perl and Java 2 years in C#. In the last 2 years my Java projects dealt mostly with Servlet and EJB development. With that I used Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases. My knowledge of Internet services and TCP/IP is quite profound. Furthermore I have extensive experience with the Bea Weblogic Server. Other tools I am very familiar with are CVS,Ant and Xdoclet. Among IDE's I use are Eclipse and Microsoft Visual Studio .Net but Vi is my favourite editor. I assure my code quality by using unit testing (JUnit/Cactus, NUnit) and profiling. I am looking for shortterm freelance assignments. I only work from remote. Since I don't have to live off the money I make from programming I can assure you a modest price but I don't work for free.

The candidate who will win this role will have 5+ years of IT industry experience. S/He will have 3+ years of experience with C#, VBA or VB.NET and .NET experience. Plusses would include experience with Python and Unix.

This person will be leading a global conversion of our email system. We are a world wide internet company, so it should be a fun and exciting task! We are looking for someone with some project management experience who can run the full project life cycle. This includes analyzing and developing requirements, building, maintaining, testing, and debugging the system. There will be other applications projects associated with this as well.

Compensation is open - we are looking for the RIGHT person and will make sure we bring that person on. Target for perm 50K for Jr 90/95K for high level sr. person. Compensation is based on proven experience.
