HTML - Hot to get a scrollbar on the left side?

Hi folks,

I know switching scrollbars On, Off or if requested. But do they always have to be on the right side of the document? For the design of my homepage it would be better to have them on the left. I'm using iNet-Explorer 4.0 under Windows 98, but it shouldn't make a difference I think.

Check out www.RuntimeTerror.de to see how it looks in the moment...

...Awful, isn't it?

Is there a way to change the side of them only using HTML-Code?

hoping for help

  • Sorry, but it isn't possible :(. At least on a windows machine, windows automatically

puts the scroller bars on the left and bottom. Browser programmers would have to

write their own scrollerbars object to be able to accomplish something like this,

and I don't think they will be doing that any time soon.
