How do I make a Multiline autosize textbox

Hi,

I need to arrange 2 textboxes on a form, txtboxB below txtboxA.
txtboxA varies in length, but is static in width, so its height should adjust, depending on its string (or Text property). It could therefore be any number of lines.
txtboxB will then be positioned just below textboxA.

My question is, how can I make txtboxA automatically set its height to ensure the complete string is always shown?
This is easy to do in VB6 with autosize and multiline, then set the width. However, in vb.net if you set multiline on, autosize does not work. Is there another way perhaps?

Thanks

  • if what you are saying is true... an idea from the back of my head..
use the height property of the text box to set it manually thru your program..
