formatting disks
I'd like to know how to write a disk formatting program. Recently I checked the properties of my Win 95 installation disks, and it had a 1.7 Mb capacity! So I want to write a program that can format disks to this capacity, and since I have no idea how to start . . .

A program set called fdutils has a program called SuperFormat that can format floppies up to 1.95MB. Check out http://www.tux.org/pub/knaff/fdutils/ for info/source!
