modem problem

I upgraded my computer to windows 2000 and I need to reinstall the drivers. When I go to add modem and then click on have disk and then click on the inf file it takes me back to the same screen as choose a modem (with no modems listed) and the have disk button.

any ideas on how I can reinstall my modem would be appreciated.
