I'm a little puzzled. Why can't you send parameters through Shell?

Because he doesn't see a parameter with the name "sParameters As String". You have to shell it like you would in normal windows!
    Like: "c:program filesMyAppsMyNewApp.exe" /setup
    Or something like that.

Now in VB there is a little problem with the "'s!
So in VB it would look like this:
    """c:program filesMyAppsMyNewApp.exe"" /setup"
First " is to begin a string then "" is for a " in the string itself.

    Greets...

Ah, it hadn't occurred to me that the problem could relate to quoting quotes.

Yeah well somehow windows requires it!

The logical string for me would look like this:
    c:programfilesmyappmysuperapp.exe "setup"
    But he... it's microsoft!

    Greets...
