I'm using IIS on my XP computer only to check and test some asp pages i have made. But after i installed internet connection to my machine, IIS stopped working. Is there some settings or something i should know on situation like this? I have tried to reinstall IIS few times!

Same -the page cannot be displayed -message is shown.
One thing i noticed on my pages is that visited link colours isnt same that i have defined on stylesheet -file.
Also, check to make sure that the server is not paused, or stopped. What is the error number associated with the problem?

HTTP 500 - Internal server error -is the error what asp -page gives when i try to load it.

Well, that's half the battle. You'll have to make sure that all the web application settings are right. First make sure your web server isn't have a problem with FrontPage Server Extensions (if they are installed). Then make sure that your virtual directory/is setup correctly. If you have a question about any of the settings let me know. Last is Security. Make sure you have whatever you need (sounds simple doesn't it

Yes sounds very simple!! I installed IIS again, and i didnt install FrontPage Extensions. What exactly is virtual directory. I assume that its the directory where i can set permissions and things like that. From there i tried to make some changes, but it didnt help me anyway!
I hope that my english isnt very unclearly! Not my mother tonque!
