/boot partition too Large PLEASE HELP...

i have windows98 40 GB hdd with 2 partitions.
i had started RED hat linux 7.1 setup.
at partition time, i have made 6 gb partition for linux.
i had given 24 mb partition for linux. it shows '/boot partition too large' & shows that error in RED color.
i had tried 16MB, 20MB, 4MB, 50Mb but it is not working.
Please help,

my graphics card -- S3 PROSAVAGE DDR is not supported in linux.
from where i can download the perfect driver?
