Beginner Help Needed !!!

I just installed the VB.NET onto Windows XP. I have the framework and IIS also installed. Now I'm trying to work myself through the 14 Chapters of the book.

When doing Chapter 1, when I try to use the View in Browser, the image doesn't display.

In Chapter 2 .. hello program with a label, textbox and submit button, only the label text is displayed.

Anybody know what I missed during setup or installation?

Hey,

You have not said what book you are using. I would suggest that you may not have done the windows component upgrade. With VB it should ask you to put in the windows component disk and then upgarde from there.

Maybe your book is older or maybe it is not the same verison you are using!!!!!!!!!!
