Todays date

I have only just started to learn Pascal, so please be patient with me.
I am trying to put todays date on the screen, but cannot seem to find any way to do it. In VBA, it is simple. Just refer to the function Date()! but not in Pascal. Any pointers greatly appreciated.

    In the Dos unit there is a funtion called:
    GetDate(var Year, Month, Day, DayOfWeek : Word);

    It will return the current Date. (Also Gettime() for current time)
    If you have TP, just look in the help section under GetDate();
