Problem Uploading Project to .Net Server

I am having a devil of a time getting my project onto a .Net server so I can test it. I have established accounts with Unisys, Brinkster and iNNERHOST and have not had success with any of them. I'm beginning to think the problem is with VS .Net ... not the servers. When I try to upload the project from Web Hosting I get a Name and Password window saying "This operation requires author permission ..." and then shows the name of the server (at Unnisys, iNNERHOST or whatever). It also shows my username at the server and a blank area for the password ... but it won't accept the password ... it keeps coming back with the "This operation requires ..." window. Curiously I DID upload the project once (and it didn't ask for my password ... I just hit Upload) but subsequent attempts to upload it (after I made some changes to the project) result in the "This operation requires ..." window. I have tried both File Share and Front Page Extensions ... both result in the same thing. I must be doing something wrong but I can't figure out what that is. Does anyone have any ideas?
