Trapping Stderr under DOS

Is there any way by which I can trap the Stderr file under DOS command line..

like we trap the Stdout file

c:>type filename.ext > trapped_out.fil

Hi,

You can often trap stderr thus

myprog 2>error.txt

2 should be stderr (0 is stdin, 1 is stdout, 3 strdprn - I think)
