Hypertext e-mail and hypertext URL on form ?

Hello,


On my "About" form, I'd like to privide my contact info, such as

a hypertext (clickable) e-mail and a hypertext (clickable) URL to my webpage...

  • Two major choices that I can think of:


    #1. Include the WebBrowser control, and use it to display the hyperlink.


    #2. Use a normal label/picture box/whatever control to display the link. In it's click event, either:

    A. Generate a dummy html file and use it to find the exe file with the API "FindExecutable", or

    B. Generate a real html file that will bounce the browser to your page and launch it using the API "ShellExecute". I'll email a copy of the "bounce" html to your address if you are interested.
