We have a site using ASP 3.0, and are looking to migrate to ASP.Net. Our site consists of several localized sites, so our structure looks like this: http://xxx.xxxxxxxx.com/usa http://xxx.xxxxxxxx.com/australia http://xxx.xxxxxxxx.com/brazil
What we want to do is roll out the USA site in .NET, and then bring the others to .NET down the line. The problem we foresee is that we set a bunch of VBScript Session Variables when users sign in to the existing ASP sites(via Passport). We need to know if there is a way to carry these variables from the ASP sites to the ASP.NET sites when they navigate over.
Does this make sense? Has anyone done this before?
Any help would be very appreciated.
