Symbian/ EPOC, Nokia communicator serial ports

Hi!
I need to write a little program to Nokia communicator 9210 serial port. I know how to open and close the ports, if you have open them by yourself. But the problem is, there is cable port open by default(another application is using) and I should close that,before I can run my application.How I can do that?
