im using apache 2.0.36 on Windows Xp Pro i had no problems with 1.3.24 but ever since i upgraded when i do fancy indexing i get red x's on all the icons. i have the server dir set as c:/www/Apache2/ the icons dir has been tried as /icons icons c:/www/Apache2/icons c:wwwApache2icons and icons and none have worked when i set the entire local link as c:/www/Apache2/Icons i open up ie and it shows that the icons are linked to "c:wwwapacheicons" with no "2" which doesnt exist
when i created the directory and put the icons in there it worked locally for me but not for the public. Its not a big deal normally but ive been using the dir for collaboration with my web design team... so its annoying that we have problems with it now. Please try to find me an answer because i don't know where else to turn.

you tried already the following?
Alias /icons/ "/www/Apache2/icons/"
...please be sure that you put in the Alias
the slashes in the correct way.
