from C++ to Java

I'm a fairly proficient programmer in C++ (and some

othe languages), and would like to know how Java

differs from C++, what do I need to know that is

different from C++ in general coding technique?

If someone could point out a web site or tutorial

that tells me how to do basic Java from a C++

background that would be helpful

I don't know any good on-line tutorials, but if you'd like to invest in a book, "Java in a Nutshell" is excellent. I was even able to learn Java from that book with no prior knowledge of object oriented programming.
