It depends what you want to do. visual c++ is more for windows programming(I actually think there is a visual c++ by borland)borlands standard compiler is really visual c++ minus the windows programing stuffif you just want a compiler though,I would have to recoment the gnu compilor. It's free it's easyand it's ported to just about EVERY OS. (unlike borland or visual c++)
if you are refering to the microsoft visual c++ verses borland visual c++i'm afraid i can't be much help.
