initializing my computer/starting over

i need some basic help on how to wipe my hard drive clean so i can reistall only the programs i need and others that i accidentally deleted. i bought the computer used and it needs to just be wiped clean.

If you have all the programs you want on disks, then your only real choice is to format C:. However, formatting drive c: will destroy anything on it.
