    A new video mode/type, eh? Way over my head. You'd have to code in all kinds of hardware control stuff, and bets are it'll have to be in ASM. Then there'd have to be compatibility and ease of use to the programmers... yech! I'll stick with OpenGL and D3D!

    I write my libraries myself (in C) for my recreation and to learn in software mode, with no special hardware support nor asm.
    it's quite difficult but I don't regret it
