ive installed Red hat 7.0 from cd
Installed Server option's
but quite a lot of packages did not install
is there a way i can do a complete install
ie install everything !!
(or is that just overkill ...)

    mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom && cd /mnt/cdrom/RedHat/i386/RPMS && rpm -Uvh *.rpm

    !! Would be a quick 'hack' way, however if you have two or more CD's then dependencies might fail if some are on these other CD's. Also I would strongly recommend NOT installing EVERYTHING!

    I agree with __jv. Installing everything is overkill. If there are things that didn't install that you wanted install, just do an upgrade with the packages that you want installed.

    OK , fair enough , but i item i really would like to hav installed is the RPM package manager in Gnome ..
    that would ..really help me !

    I think the package you want is gnorpm it's not a great application though. If you have a good NET connection I would seriously consider upgrading to the latest ximian gnome and user redcarpet:

    as root do (and in X)

    lynx -source http://go-gnome.com | sh

    Maybe I am just a little paranoid, but piping an internet connection
    to the shell while logged in as root sends shivers down my spine !!!
