passing information

Is it possible to fill out a form on one page by passing it information from another page?

ie)

The page to be filled out requires:
1. a box to be filled out with a name.
2. one box to be selected out of three options.
3. a radio button to be selected.

So what would happen is:
The page passing it information would pass it default values for:
1. the name (jon)
2. option 2 out of three.
3. radio 1 out of four.

The page thats going to recieve these values could be written in javascript, cgi, or server-side. The page thats sending the information to this page could be written in any language.

Hope this made sense.

Thanks
Dave
